Create A Task Pattern (12 Steps)

Step 1:
Right-click on the Process and select New > Pattern
Step 2
Enter the Name of the Pattern
Step 3
Click on the Add... button next to the Parameters list to add custom parameters to the Pattern
Step 4:
Enter the Name, Default Value and Property Type of the Parameter. Property Type tells xProcess what type of data will be held in the Parameter. Example: String, Integer, Boolean
Step 5:
The basic Pattern is now ready
Step 6:
To make this a Task Pattern, right click on the Pattern name and select New > Task
Step 7:
Select the Scheduling Type (Prioritized) and enter the Task Name (create mutiple Tasks if needed by entering Task names separated by commas and checking the Create Mulitple Tasks checkbox)
Step 8:
Optional: select the Role Type to be associated with this Task
Step 9:
The Task is now created
Step 10:
Edit the 3 Point Estimates of the task
Step 11:
Modify the Roles and number of Resources required for the Task
Step 12:
The Task Pattern is now ready to be used by a project. Add sub-tasks if needed.
